SAKU is an authentic Japanese pork cutlet restaurant located in the heart of downtown Vancouver. SAKU specializes in Japanese pork cutlet in which they use only the finest ingredients to make all of their dishes memorable.
I worked with the client to deliver the SAKU image to the menu, business card, food packaging, website and signage.
SAKU has two different meanings in Japanese, crispy food & blooming flower. The logo is symbolized by the blooming flower and a San-serif font to have a classic look. The gold color brings the elegant and delicate look to the logo which can be seen throughout the business card and menu. Overall mood expresses the Japanese traditions by emphasizing on the wood, also the light pink reflects the pork meat used at the SAKU.
